WordPress Control Panel Explanation:
WordPress is the most popular open-source free website builder application. In has almost 1,00,000 + Free themes for your website which is ready to install a single click. Also, you can install, custom theme (developed by you) for your website. If you are a beginner, you should read the article at the end.
Dashboard:
It considers two categories such as home and updates. The home contains the latest updates, WordPress news, plugin announcement & alerts, your website activity such as website traffic, Comments, SEO score (if you use Yoast or rank math plugin), WordPress events and notes, etc. The update link indicates the new version of the plugin and themes.
Post:
This is an essential part of your website, here you can write a post, or control all published post, also you can add categories or modify you exiting categories or you can add tags or modify existing tags.
Media:
This is an important part for those who are having photo blogs. Here you can modify your uploads such as cropping, editing, doing image SEO, uploading new images, and deleting your uploads.
Pages:
Generally creating pages is the same as post, pages cannot be added into your category, you can visible them by pointing its URL to any of your post sidebar or menu bar. In this, you can add about us, content us, faq, etc. Such important things can be made with pages’ section. By Clicking add new pages, you can add extra pages.
Comments:
Here you can modify the comments sent by your user. Here you filter out the spam comment. Do not approve, spam comment. Spam comment lowers your website pages’ rank.
Appearance:
The most clicked setting pages in any one WordPress in appearance settings. The appearance has default inbuilt setting of Themes changing, customizing existing themes, altering widgets, adding menus, Editing your source code and changing your theme background images or colors, etc.
Plugins:
This is the website traffic driving settings and it makes your website beautiful, using this setting you can add free million plugins to your website. The most used plugins are Yoast SEO, google analyticities, woo-commerce, etc. here you can add new plugins, modify the existing plugin, and deactivate or delete plugins.
User:
This is an administrator tool. Here you can add or delete any of your users.
Tools:
This is a backup section; in this, you can import your existing content from different blogging platforms such as blogger.com, tumbler.com, open blog, etc. Also, you can import or export your WordPress file from this section.
Settings:
This is another popular tool in WordPress. In this section only decides all of your website URL, reading instruction, writing instruction, media instruction such as pixel size and width of your uploading images and videos, modify any plugins settings, etc
Additional Settings:
Some plugins such as Yoast, access press social counter, Google analyticities, etc. all the settings can be done in this section.
